Common questions.

Tereina is a licensed payment infrastructure company embedded inside SAP. Payment instructions flow directly from your existing SAP workflows — purchase orders, payroll runs, intercompany journals — and confirmations post back automatically, with no new banking integration required.

The lift on your side is minimal. One-time KYC/AML onboarding, agreement on approval flows, and an internal communication playbook. Your IT team's involvement is configuration only — no integration build, no format testing, no bank connectivity work.

Tereina supports traditional fiat payments across 40+ currencies via ACH, Wire, SEPA, CHAPS, and other standard rails, as well as USDC digital currency settlement through licensed partners. A wire to Germany and a USDC payment to Singapore can run in the same payment run, reconciled the same way.

Yes. Traditional fiat rails and USDC digital currency settlement are unified on one platform. From your perspective, it is just a payment method selection inside SAP — no wallets, no blockchain addresses, no custody to manage.

Payments are initiated in your functional currency and settled in the recipient's local currency. Tereina handles the FX conversion at competitive rates, eliminating the need to pre-fund foreign currency accounts or manually manage exchange exposure.

Standalone processors require a separate integration, a separate contract, and separate reconciliation. With Tereina, there is zero new integration — it is already inside S/4HANA, live in weeks not months. One contract and one KYC relationship cover every rail and every corridor.

Nothing moves without your approval. The payment run follows your existing SAP approval workflow — you keep full visibility into what is going out, when, and to whom. Payment timing, currency, and method stay entirely in your hands.

They stay intact. Tereina is not a replacement — it sits alongside your existing setup. Tereina adds value specifically where you decide to use Tereina (e.g. paying suppliers) and removing the configuration and testing burden for anything you haven't yet built out.

Tereina requires only KYC/AML as part of onboarding and subsequently approvals on payments flows with an internal communication playbook. Your IT team's involvement is configuration only – no integration build or bank connectivity work.

Yes. Tereina supports configurations with multiple bank accounts. If you are adding or updating bank accounts, you need to set these up in your SAP application just as you would today and do a corresponding setup in Tereina.
