Tereina, an SAP company, is a financial services provider built to embed agentic capabilities in businesses’ applications and processes payments across traditional and digital rails.

The name
“Tereina” means “rails” in te reo Māori — the indigenous language of New Zealand. The name carries a deliberate dual meaning: payment rails flowing across the world, and the flowing lines of Māori koru and kōwhaiwhai art.
Leadership
Cedric Bru
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Cedric leads vision, culture and execution at Tereina. He brings more than two decades in financial services and enterprise software, building and leading global fintechs in roles. Cedric is also CEO of Taulia and was Head of Sales and Marketing at Syncada from Visa. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and an MSc from INSA Toulouse. Outside work, he's an avid rugby and tennis player and enjoys time with family and friends.
Brady Cale
Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Brady leads Technology at Tereina. A co-founder of the company, he spent 11 years at Taulia before that, where he led the team that built and launched its core supply chain finance product and took the technology organization from an early VC-backed startup with single-digit millions in revenue to well past nine figures in revenue and tens of billions in assets funded annually. After SAP acquired Taulia in 2022, he led the integration of Taulia's product and technology into the SAP ecosystem. Earlier, he led technology at ProvideCommerce, scaling the platform from $80M to over $700M in revenue, and was General Manager of Sincerely. He holds a BS in Computer Science from UC San Diego and is a proud Bay Area native.
Rajesh Venkatesh
Chief Product Officer
Rajesh leads Product at Tereina. He brings more than two decades of experience scaling global payments businesses. At Nium and InstaReM, he built and led the product, design, and data organization behind a cross-border infrastructure serving payouts to 150+ countries and card issuing in 30+. Earlier, he headed product management for GrabPay across Southeast Asia and spent eleven years at PayPal in product and merchant leadership roles spanning the US, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
Ben Duranske
Chief Compliance Officer
Ben leads Compliance at Tereina. He's a fintech compliance veteran with two decades of experience across payments, financial services, and regulatory technology. He led compliance for Facebook Payments from its formation in 2010, then for Apple's financial services division. He later co-founded Beam, an AI-driven compliance platform.
Thomas Mehlkopf
Head of Sales
Thomas leads Sales at Tereina. He brings over 20 years of experience in treasury and payments, spanning both consulting and corporate finance roles. He is also responsible for the go-to-market of SAP's Treasury and Working Capital solutions.
Anjali Tumrukota

Anjali leads People at Tereina. She brings experience scaling HR functions at high-growth fintechs, with a focus on building teams that are global by design.
